    A great question indeed @mike-schmidt. I believe that neurodiversity has always been present. I recommend reading “NeuroTribes – the Legancy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity” by Steve Silberman as its the largest research undertaken to address that question.

    Wondering why? Was there always Autism prevalence dating back 30-40-50 years (and just was undercounted) or is there something that has happened environmentally, in the processing of foods, in pharmaceuticals, etc. that has significantly increased the numbers? Any insight into this? @nicole-dauz @lauralei2
