I’m making Thanksgiving dinner for some of dear caregiving friends. I’ll be making the main meal and they will bring the sides and desserts. I can’t wait! 🦃
Thanksgiving is next week and I’ve got mixed feelings. Leaving my clients doesn’t feel good, but seeing family will be awesome. At the same time, my uncle has Alzheimer’s and I’m concerned about what I’ll witness in person. Wish me luck!
I feel the need to post in this group. So many caregivers are wonderful and focused on patient safety, but some are pre-occupied and don’t realize how important it is to stay attentive. I came across this recently, as I took on a new client who had fallen twice under the eye of another caregiver. Stay vigilant!
It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week. Fortunately, I get some time to myself that weekend and will be heading to the gym, seeing a movie, and actually going on a date. Take time all caregivers for your self-care, whatever it looks like for you!
