It’s always dis-heartening to me when patients are given a diagnosis and handed a pamphlet. That’s it. Lack of guidance and compassion, let alone explaining what’s going on, it’s maddening. I’ve run into this recently with my mom’s ongoing physical and mental health journey — not to mention mine, too.
For any caregiver, I want to let you know please don’t be afraid to reach out for mental health assistance. You may think you can handle everything and maybe you can, but is your mental health suffering. Please consider, before your situation eats you alive.
