I need to stay on course with meditation more than ever! As my time becomes more scarce with my mom’s pending cancer diagnosis, I’m going to lean in to meditation for however long I can each day.
How much more can my mom — can I — take? We are now in wait and see mode, but it looks like she has cancer. This will be a jolt to her, as she’s dealt with depression her whole life and its sure to be much worse soon. I don’t want to be doom and gloom, but it’s the reality. I’m praying for the best possible results, whatever that may mean. 😢
I did my annual visit to the Art Institute of Chicago recently and as always it was a wonderful respite from caregiving. I highly recommend! The Gustave Caillebotte impressionism exhibit is especially incredible!
I’ve been finding it a bit challenging to weed through all of the information coming out about Dementia and Alzheimer’s. It’s challenging to know what research is near term and long term. Does anyone know a good resource with a chart or something of the sort that helps make sense of it all?
