A client of mine has been using art therapy as a way to relieve anxiety and it’s working well. She looks forward to the sessions and calm it brings to her is so obvious.
If I can give one piece of advice to my fellow caregivers, don’t be afraid of meditation. I used to think it was foo foo, but once I got started it was clear how much it helps my caregiving journey and overall wellbeing.

How lucky that I took tomorrow off — the forecast is for 70 degrees!!! That’s unheard of for St. Patrick’s Day in South Dakota! Typically in the low-40s.
I can’t wait for my trip to Southern California in a few weeks. I need to thaw out, even though it hasn’t been too too terrible. Caregiving respite, countdown!
