SUMMARY:Powerful Tools for Caregivers
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nPowerful Tools for Caregivers gives you the skills 
 to take care of yourself while caring for someone else. By taking care of 
 your own health and well-being\, you become a better caregiver. Six class 
 sessions held once a week are led by experienced class leaders. Class part
 icipants are given The Caregiver Helpbook to accompany the class and provi
 de additional caregiver resources.\nCaregiver Resource Center OC is a trus
 ted partner for Orange County families who are coping with the physical\, 
 emotional\, and financial responsibilities of caregiving. We are a not-for
 -profit agency therefore our services are FREE to family caregivers.\nB
 y providing families with individualized supportive services\, CRC OC st
 ands apart as the only Orange County agency focusing specifically on the n
 eeds of caregivers who are coping with a loved one’s chronic illness. Se
 rvices include family consultation\, assessment\, care planning\, counseli
 ng\, referrals for resources\, psycho-educational seminars\, respite plann
 ing and community education.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
