  or anyone in the community who is concerned about or caring for someone l
 iving with cognitive impairment or dementia. Join us to learn:\n\n 	The di
 fference between normal aging and dementia\n 	How dementia affects our bra
 in\, abilities\, and influences our behavior\n 	Techniques\, approaches\, 
 and communication tips to support people living with brain change and deme
 ntia\n 	Strategies to effectively manage caregiver stress\, difficult emot
 ions\, and the art of accepting assistance from others\n\nThe workshop wil
 l be facilitated by Kay Adams—Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founde
 r of Compassion Works\, LLC. Kay is a dementia coach\, educator\, writer\,
  speaker and trainer. Compassion Works engages care partners and organizat
 ions impacted by dementia through coaching\, consulting\, education and tr
 aining\, so they are empowered to effectively face challenges with confide
 nce\, clarity\, and connection.
