 oundation and Rae Blaylark\, CEO of Sickle Cell Foundation of Minnesota fo
 r the Empowered Caregivers Forum.\n\nHost Carla Lewis and Rae Blaylark are
  mother's of children born with sickle cell disease. We welcome you to joi
 n a forum created to support\, educate and share resources with parents/ca
 regivers of a child/children or young adult with sickle cell disease/ trai
 t or thalassemia. The forum will provide a safe place for parents to share
  &amp\; ask questions bridging the gap to important conversations.\n\nSess
 ions are scheduled 7am PT/ 9 am CT/ 10 am ET - There are three scheduled d
 ates:\n\nSession I April 22: Sickle Cell Disease: Silent Damage\n\nSession
  II July 22: Sickle Cell Trait: What should we know?\n\nSession III Oct 14
 : Let's Talk About It: Gene Therapy &amp\; Stem Cell Transplant\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\nEach session will offer guest speakers and a Q&amp\; A discussion sess
 ion.\n\nGuest speakers for April 22 session includes: Maya Bloomburg\, APR
 N\; Shana Andrews BSW\, CFSW\; &amp\; Shaquansia Love\, patient advocate. 
 Our discussion circle session will include an inspirational journey of war
 rior Shaquansia Love's experience managing sickle cell disease while balan
 cing a career\, motherhood\, and being a wife.\n\nCarla Lewis &amp\; Rae B
 laylark are parent &amp\; patient advocates dedicated to educating the com
 munity and support parents /caregivers. As parents they understand that it
  takes a village of support and resources to provide the best care for chi
 ldren/ young adults living with sickle cell.\n\nWe welcome YOU to join us
